Tao演化之位面
The plane of Tao is governed by simplicity. The deepest pattern is the simplest pattern. A single binary distinction — yin / yang, 0 / 1, selection / mutation — applied recursively produces every complex structure that has ever existed in the universe.
Laozi articulated the principle in the sixth century BCE: the Way that can be named is not the eternal Way; the unnameable is the origin of the ten thousand things. Twenty-five centuries later, Darwin re-derived a special case of it — selection on biological variation — and could not, in his lifetime, fully see how general the rule he had discovered actually was.
The convergence is uncomfortable for partisans of either tradition: Dao = Evolution = I-Ching = Binary = Taiji = Yin/Yang = Model. The same minimal grammar — a distinction, repeated — generates cosmologies, organisms, languages, software, and minds. The simplest rule has the most expressive grammar precisely because there is nothing structural left to obstruct expression.
"大道至简" (Less is More) is not aesthetic preference. It is the empirical observation that complex worlds emerge from short rules — and that any rule complicated enough to feel "civilized" is almost certainly not the deepest one.
道之位面由简洁统摄。最深的模式即是最简的模式。一个二元区分——阴/阳、0/1、选择/变异——递归施加,便能生成宇宙中存在过的所有复杂结构。
老子在公元前六世纪便已阐明此原理:"道可道,非常道;无名,天地之始。"二十五个世纪后,达尔文重新推导出它的一个特例——生物变异之上的选择——但终其一生也未能完全看清他所发现的规则究竟有多普遍。

"大道至简"不是美学偏好,而是经验观察:复杂世界由短规则涌现;任何复杂到令人觉得"文明"的规则,几乎可以断定不是最深的那一条。
